Staple on The Healthy Dancer’s Diet

Before we get to an example of a how a day on a healthy dancer’s diet looks, a description of some unique products is required. The first and most important of these is Barley Max.  Barley Max is one of, if not, the most crucial addition to the diet as it gives the widest spectrum of nutrients from a single plant source.
Barley Max is dehydrated leaves from baby organic barley plants.  The crop is grown and harvested at a high elevation in the Rocky Mountains.  Barley goes through a similar process as seen when juicing wheatgrass and then it is dehydrated at a  low temperature in order to save all the living enzymes.  Alfalfa sprout juice is also added to the product and it becomes a very nutritious boost of health.
This product is taken three times a day. One for breakfast and then half an hour before both lunch and dinner.  It will replace breakfast for adults and will provide enough nutrients to keep you full as if you had a breakfast. More about breakfast will be discussed in future blogs.
Barley Max is best taken by mixing one teaspoon of the powder into a maximum of four ounces of water. This must be mixed in our mixer or a water bottle that can be closed and shaken. Contact me  to order your first container of barley for only sixty cents per day (much less than a cup of coffee.) It is available in one or two month supplies.

Hey good post but I find that the “straight up” green drinks are terrible tasting! Try “THE FEAST” by Uri International. It’s a blend of 30 fruits and berries, 30 supergreens and vegetables, 11 seeds, nuts, and sprouts with 83 Active Enzymes and Fulvic Minerals and 22 Resilient Living Probiotics in a great tasting, easy to mix “Instafresh” powder that you mix with water or juice. It includes both Barley and Wheat Grass and also Alfalfa, Spirulina, Klamath Lake Algae and many more!
    Grace and peace,

Oh so you are not a fan of the barely stuff hey? Yeah I can understand that. My wife isn’t so keen on it either.
However, feeling the benefit of an all natural, purely organic, nutrient blast such as barley max, soon outweighs the uncomfortable taste.
We recommend that one starts with 1teaspoon of Barley Max mixed with 4 ounces of water.. this will still give the nutrients and not really taste that bad at all.

So I understand you like “The Feast’ Sounds like there are quite a few things in there. Some of those sound like quite good ingredients. If I may , I would like to ask a question. See, it is important that the nutrients we receive from vegetables and fruits be in the raw organic state. If they are cooked, which happens in 90% of packaged products, the health benefits are lost.. and unfortunately you are sucked into a scam that promises a lot but doesn’t give you much! That is why barley max is the best choice for a healthy diet. The Barley leaves are dehydrated at a low enough temperature that the critical enzymes are not destroyed. We find that in superpacked products there is way too much vitamins and minerals added and that has been linked to osteo-related problems such as arthritis.

So my question for you is, how is this “Feast” processed? What is the process it undergoes from plant, or veggie to powder? What are the added ingreadients? Does it contain sugar?

I would encourage you to do this simple homework as it can save you from a lot of hassle and a lot of money

That’s right ozenblog! these days you have to do your homework! I’ve been with URI International for 8 months now and have done extensive research on the processing of the “FEAST”. Here’s a short explaination of our “Instafresh” process.

URI International is committed to providing superior products that stand up to the highest expectation and standards. Our products offer real solutions for superior nutrition. We do this by bringing the whole food goodness of nature’s perfect nutrition directly to your home through our proprietary Nutritional Quadrant™: A four phase process for Growing, Preserving, Packaging and Delivering the world’s most powerful live whole food products directly to your home!

GROW – Whole foods grown to the strictest standards for optimal, nutrient rich produce.

PRESERVE – Proprietary low temperature, fast drying process that preserves the naturally occurring nutrients of our live whole food ingredients.

PACKAGE – We immediately fill, label and package each product, fresh from our drying facilities.

DELIVER – Our products never leave our facilities until they are shipped directly to you. From field to you, URI International ensures the superiority in whole food nutrition that you deserve!

The URI drying facilities are located within a pristine mountain valley in Southern Utah surrounded by 4,700 acres of certified organic farmland where many of our whole food ingredients are grown.

This fertile land began as a ancient lake bed, layered with deep soil created and kept rich by the ash and weathering of ancient volcanoes, mountain runoff and organic matter. This fertile farmland provides some of the most nutrient rich soil on earth; abundant in selenium, precious metals, friendly organisms, fulvic acid, rare earth and vital plant micronutrients necessary for optimal plant growth.

These conditions, combined with the regions elevation, sunshine, clean air, low humidity, proper crop rotation and continued re-mineralization from the surrounding snow capped mountains produce nutrient dense, organic crops.

Each crop is nurtured and harvested at the peak of nutrition, taken to our onsite processing facilities, where it is juiced and dried to preserve the nutritional integrity of the plant, to produce 100% pure, nutrient rich unpasteurized juice powder. By cutting out the middleman, URI is fully integrated, and provides whole food ingredients, processing, packaging and labeling direct to you. Fresh produce from field to you.

URI International maintains its product superiority through ongoing research and scientific developments to ensure that our products, ingredients and drying process remain the best in the industry.

URI International understands that a perfect drying process is the key to maintaining the nutritional integrity of the fresh whole foods being dried. Unlike typical drying processes used in the nutritional supplement industry, the proprietary URI International InstaFresh™ Drying Process helps to maintain, rather than compromise, the naturally occurring nutritional content in whole foods. Our unique and proprietary process preserves the nutritional integrity and life force of the fresh produce being dried, which is essential to health and well being.

Our InstaFresh™ Low Temperature Drying Process takes newly harvested, fresh-pressed 34°F liquid juice to powder within 30 seconds. During this process, the product temperature averages 65°F and never exceeds 100°F, which is considered phenomenal in the drying industry. All of this is accomplished within hours of harvest! We understand that the moment you separate any fruit or vegetable from its root or vine, the natural nutrients in the food begin to die. The short period of time between harvest and locking the natural life force into a powder form is one of the critical reasons why URI International’s live whole food products are the most nutritionally dense in the industry today!

This proprietary process ensures that the whole foods found in URI Products retains naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, ORAC value, live enzymes, antioxidants, amino acids, phytonutrients, co-factors, synergistic compounds and natural balance intact – just as Nature intended! Even the flavor and aroma are preserved. All of this is achieved without pasteurization or the use of any preservatives. The dried ingredients are then blended, packaged and labeled in our own facilities and shipped directly to you! The resulting products provide nutrient dense, whole food powders that are easily broken down, dispersed, digested and assimilated by your body.

Wow.. this is so great. I have been corresponding with Ed about his product and health in general. I asked him about mixing all these things in one product as I was concerned about acidic and alkaline fruits and veggies mixing. This is what he wrote….

    “Hey Dean,

Actually the difference is acidic or alkaline. You generally want to stay away from the acidic fruits if you are juice fasting or just drinking juice for a meal.
Our stomach and bodies as a whole function better in an alkaline state. That’s one of the benefits of drinking the various grasses (Wheat and Barley). Acids are primarily used to break down the foods in our stomach and then the food goes to the intestines where the environment is alkaline. That’s why the feast is synergistically designed for optimum absorption of the nutrients in the fruits and greens.”

    And regarding a free trial

The trial gives you a month’s supply of the feast, two packages of the feast supercharged, two packages of Beyond Berries and a Uri shaker cup for $40. It all comes with a 90 day unconditional guarantee.
